Demigryph

Demigryph

from 45.00

Demigryphs are a truly mesmerizing species. They are large cats the size of mountain lions with varying patterns of fur. However, there are vibrant feathers on the crest, shoulders, and tail! These beings develop these feathers shortly after birth, and in their culture the more vivid the color of their feathers, the more beautiful and dominant the Demigryph. They are highly intelligent but predatory creatures. There are both "feral" and "civil" tribes of Demigryph in existence. Feral Demis are extremely hostile and opportunistic, doing what they must to survive. Civils, however, have made sacred pacts with the Southertail Naga near their territories, helping each other hunt either by offering aid between races or by teaming up. Only Civil variants will be offered for companionship due to their much more reasonable and sociable personalities. Civil Demigryphs have demonstrated a keen proficiency with telepathic communication, and prefer this method since they are unable to speak. Their physical senses are also keen, and they make excellent bodyguards (especially when offerings are left as a reward).
