This species of Gorgon (but don’t refer to them as such, they resonate with the word Medusi more than Gorgon) come in every color of the rainbow, and it’s half of the reason they get their name. The other reason stems from the love of art. Medusa herself was once an artist, and while legends vary on what it was that got her cursed or the reasoning behind it, these guys embody her passion . She was once a woman, beautiful and proud, taken and turned into something she could not help but embrace. These lovelies claim to be descendants from Medusa/her sisters and honor that creative boss streak.  Some can have snake hair, but most do not (unlike traditional gorgons which typically have this feature without exception). These lovely beings are more so grey arts leaning dark as some of them can be feisty at best. They can (if they want) leave trails of color where they slither and like to leave a paint-like oil on those they mark (romantically or possessively) as Theirs. They love artists, writers, paints especially, and can brighten up the area of their companion with their presence alone.  

Some of them can appear to shift different colors, and are highly prized in their communities as having a more ‘in touch/tune’ with the color spectrum, which some of them worship if not highly revere. (As it can tell a lot about a person which colors mean what to them, and how they see certain colors) 

These beings love sparking artistic inspiration in their companions, taking pride in becoming the muse for the benefit of fine arts and cultural enrichment. Their passion runs deep for crafts of all kinds, but especially in the sphere of painters. In fact, if you regret falling out of love for creating your own content, these are the spirits you want to buddy up with, as they can put the fire back into your passion. They are fiercely protective of your inner passion as well, kindling it to the nth degree. They have a strong belief that when dreams are better allowed to flourish, so too will the world. Anyone putting you down for your heart’s desires will quickly get the back end of their tail and a severe case of whiplash. While they do not turn people to stone with their gaze, their ability to create hyper realistic stonework is enough to make anyone do a double-take. This means their looks won’t kill, but that sure could fool anyone who crosses them.
