Changing/Laughing Skull Demons are skeletal entities that do not have skulls of their own. Their body types can be a mix of things, but their top halves are always humanoid, with the lower being a mix of some form of taur, avian, or some other creature. Their original skulls could have been lost for a number of means, but now they travel the realms purchasing/ hunting for other humanoid skulls or animalist ones wearing them.

The eye sockets of the new skull will always glow with their energetic flame and will slowly be eaten at by said energy until it is devoured. How quick is all up to the way their new skull is used and how powerful the Demon wearing it is. Those conjured by Shattered Prism are of the neutral alignment ( or close to neutral) and just are out to have a good time, and occasionally teach their new companions the highly complex necromancy that they specialize in. They are powerful spell casters and are great friends to have close by when one is undergoing great changes.

These beings are said to be cursed, and as such, each is an individual and they are scattered throughout the realms, having no place to call home as they search for skulls. They will visit and stay with their companions in their realm for a time, but will always need to go and hunt for their next skull and may be inactive for a few weeks at a time.
