Invoking Ease

This ritual was born from the advice I received from Lady Sekhmet in a heartfelt reading I got in the past two months. It was an eye-opening reading, one that has led me to some profound discoveries and mental shifts within myself, and I am vastly grateful for Her and Her Wisdom.

In the reading, though most of it was personal, it did center on some highlights I can share. Some of which being :

To show my community support and that no matter what we’ve been through, we’ve made it. We’ve survived, and we will thrive. That no matter what ails us now and what could ail us later, we should live and not for others but for ourselves.

To focus now on what aligns with our healing and relaxation, to cultivate a sense of growth which will lead to goals being met and the creation of resources for myself, as well as others.

I took away from that reading that, in a way, I can give back to my community now is this working.

I sat long and hard to figure it out: What is Ease? How does one even invoke that? What would it look like for not only me but for my community? I spent days wracking on how this could be done, and details and the invocations… and after some new hardships of my own … the answer came to me.

Ease

Ease looks like relaxing in your bed or favorite chair with a good book, sunlight cascading through a window, or the soft light of stars outside, with no jarring noises. Relaxing music is playing while you have your favorite drink next to you. Ease feels like perfect comfort, the feeling of not wanting to leave your bed because you are warm and relaxed.

Ease is not having to worry about if the things you want will take a chunk out of your bill money or rent. That you won’t have to put something that calls to you back on the shelf for hopefully ‘another day’ because you just don’t know if you’ll have the funds to support getting it now and paying things later.

Ease is the internal knowing you have good food, clean water, a tidy space, and access to a clean restroom. Not just knowing that, but feeling that you don’t have to worry about those things. And not just yourself, but knowing your loved ones are taken care of? Needs met?

That freedom allows you to breathe and melt and simply BE within the universe for five whole minutes. That your tasks then don’t feel like manic scrambling, and you can take the dedicated time and energy to do the things you want.

That is what ease is to me.

This ritual is to call what sort of energy into your life, to unblock and remove whatever things keep it from you, to pull those that will honor and uphold your ease and safety as you would theirs, the support, knowing and guidance to get to a place of ease for yourself not just for a day or two but for your lifetime.

The only thing I need from you as a customer who wants to take part in this ritual, is your legal name. This working is a monthly ongoing ritual, in I will be doing every new moon for the foreseeable future. Your name will be added to the list of individuals I invoke ease for every new moon cycle until such a time I stop this working or you wish to be removed (simply send an email!)

The only thing that is paid for here is if you wish to donate funds to help me with the upkeep of the ritual. Candles, incense, oils, and other various things used here all eventually need to be replaced, but it is not mandatory to do so and is always appreciated.

May this working bring my community ease, and the world a little bit more peace.
